2/13 Recap | More Waka Love!
Last night was the first night of two for us here at the Mangy Moose in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's always a pleasure to play here, especially after our last outing down here in December, which I feel was one of our best shows of 2014.
Though none of us came out and said it, we were excited to try to recreate the magic of the previous show. That objective is none too easy, especially playing four sets over two nights. We wrote the night 1 set to take some chances and shake things up, throwing in a handful of tunes we haven't played in months. We also debuted one brand new tune called "Gas Can," that will be on "The Squeeze" when it drops in April.
We shook the rust off and had a great time seeing a bunch of old friends and new. We've saved our most... 'romantic' tunes for tonight's Moose Round 2: Valentine's Day Edition. Check in tomorrow for what I can only imagine will be a spicy tale of lust and intrigue.
Speaking of multiple sets, we've got Arkansas on the brain this morning (1:30pm). Cure for the Common is joining some truly top-notch company in announcing that we will be playing multiple sets at this year's festival. We'll also be geeking out at the Umphrey's sets as well, so maybe we'll see you around.
